Wow…I had a pretty fucked-up dream…
I was borrowing my cousin's van (In real life, he doesn't - and wouldn't - own a van.), which I found to have seven Lab puppies in it. At one point, I realized that the puppies shouldn't be kept in the van (silly me), and I began removing them from the van and putting them in our house. For...

Oh yes, sprinkled with a good, healthy dash of CSS, and a round serving of w3c standards-compliancy.

A pretty fucked up dream? Beyond the porno with Jesus? Cool dude, cool! At least the puppies were OK.
I'm working on a Desktop wallpaper based on Sky's "On the Dresser" set. I might make more, depending on how pleased I am with this one. I should be uploading it sometime tomorrow, assuming that everything goes well.

imageshack won't let me post a banner either.

What're your ten favorite movie scenes of all-time? I was thinking about this last night as I was preparing to watch "The Breakfast Club" for the umpteenth time this week. Here are mine, in no particular order…
• the bat control scene in "Batman Begins", when Batman makes the bats follow him during his drop down the spiral staircase
• the beach scene in "The...

I just pre-ordered "Batman Begins" (the two-disc "deluxe" edition) from Amazon.com. To qualify for the free shipping, I also ordered the SG DVD, although I must admit that I feel a little guilty for having done so. I almost feel as though I've cheated on SG.
In either case, it was for the best. I must have "Batman Begins". That movie is fucking awesome...

i think half the fun in a library is introducing people to it, too.

I'm sure they appreciate having sold another DVD even if it was for ulterior motives.
You know, if there's one thing that I'll miss when I'm finally out of retail for good, I'd say that it'd hafta be the feeling that I get from helping a lot of people in a small amount of time. No, I'm not gonna get all mushy and write a two-page essay on just why I enjoy helping people, but allow me a single paragraph…...

Well, I have the house to myself. You know what that means? No, it's nothing exciting. I'll likely fall asleep early while lying on the sofa, watching "Star Wars". I'm sooooooo fucking lame.
Oh, but I bought the "Call of Duty" Deluxe Edition Box Set. It could've been Heaven, but this fucking Radeon 9550 just doesn't do the game justice. I believe I'll be looking...

Anyway, my day went rather well, with the exception of my finding out that one bitch of a manager where I work has it in for me. It would seem that saying 'hi' to one of her associates equates to bullshitting for 30-45 minutes, so she's been telling my managers that I'm slacking off.
I do more work than that...

Fuck them.
Forgot to mention yesterday that I found out that one of my best friends from work was fired the other day. Needless to say, I was more than just a little surprised. We knew that somebody from the inside was stealing, but he was probably the last individual that I would've expected such a thing from.
It wasn't just him, naturally, as he had two...

thanks so much for the compliment on my set.

Well, it's highly possible that we received a defective starter for my car, so that's certainly a disappointment. In either case, we ordered another, less-expensive starter, which should be ready for pickup sometime tomorrow morning. In the meantime, I'm quite comfortable driving my cousin's truck, so it's no biggie.
sky:
woah, i so want a truck
Great news! My car finally started up today, thanks to a bit of tapping on the starter solenoid. I drove it home, then ordered a replacement starter, which should be available in-store sometime tomorrow. God willing, my car should be running quite well tomorrow.

Went to see if my car would start a while ago, figuring that maybe a little time was all it needed. Still nothing. It seems that I'll be driving my cousin's big-ass truck to work tomorrow. It's certainly different from driving my little Neon.
Ha! And I marked up the road in front of our house trying to back out. Getting used to another vehicle...

My car won't start. I went to a meeting at work today, and - after the meeting - I found that my car just wouldn't start. It doesn't even seem to make an attempt at turning over, so I'd assume that it's the starter. From what I understand, the starter itself isn't too expensive. Of course, it's the labor that'll fuck the living shit out...
