I'm planning on wasting this weekend playing "Skies of Arcadia" for Sega Dreamcast. It takes approximately 60 hours to beat, so I suppose I should spend as much time with it as possible. I'd like to spend at least 10 in-game hours playing it this weekend. Actually, 15-20 would be ideal, but I doubt that I could handle it.

Yet another long, uneventful day…

Ahh…tomorrow is Friday, which means that I'll be free once 2:00 p.m. comes. I must say that my favorite time of the week is right when I'm clocking out for the weekend. At that particular point in time, I'm probably the furthest away from having to work again that I'll ever get…and it feels great.

i have the day off, i've only just woken up (it's nearly midday) and i'm going to have a lazy day!
we're having a houseparty tonight and so my job is to clear up the house when everyone is out working... but i'll leave that til later tongue

(and as for virus software... urgh, mine keeps telling me it's run out.. i dunno.. .maybe my computer isn't even protected :surrealsmile

..im actually much closer to my family than i was before i moved out. it's weird how that worked out.
as for friends.. there is one friend who i care[d] very deeply about who just gives me nothing in return. he uses me and although i think deepdown he does care.. it's not enough..

I started playing "Skies of Arcadia" for Dreamcast earlier today. I believe I'll actually make an attempt at playing through the entire game this time around, as I remember having tried twice before and losing interest. The character design is nothing short of remarkable, so I'd definitely like to see all that the game has to offer.

I'm considering teaching myself either C or C++, as I'd like to learn another programming language to broaden my knowledge a bit. Honestly, I'd rather learn how to program scalable vector graphics, but it just doesn't seem like a worthwhile thing to do at the moment, especially considering the fact that the current wave of Web browsers don't fully support them yet.

Last night, work went quite well. Naturally, I didn't get out of there at 2:00 a.m. as scheduled, but my extended stay only consisted of an additional half hour. I left at 2:30 a.m., and - needless to say - I was dead fucking tired when I got home. I'm just fortunate to have fallen asleep so easily.

First off, I received my SuicideGirls DVD this morning in the mail. I watched the entire thing (including all of the extras), and I'm certainly glad that I purchased it. My favorite parts: Pearl's entire section, Reagan's entire section, and "Van Attack".

Yay! OpenOffice 2.0 was released today! It's certainly nice to finally have a final version installed on my computer. I haven't used Microsoft Office in ages, although I still compose documents in .doc format. Once Microsoft Office begins to support the OpenDocument format, maybe I'll be able to change that.

In either case, 'tis a wonderful day for lovers of open-source software. smile
