Well, tomorrow is Santa Catalina Island Day (Avalon mostly)! 
Still looking to take some shots of any girls in the Southern California area for my pin up work. Most of my friends know I've not "painted" anything for the better part of 15 years because I got discouraged by how much greed there is in Vegas. I can't hand over hundreds of dollars for an hours (probably less than that) work for a digital painting that i may or may not sell down the road. I know it takes money to make money but when ones unemployed and has been for the better part of three years and i take my work very seriously. I take a photograph, turn it into a digital painting on my PC (HQ to boot) and its not even about selling it, its about building a really decent catalogue of my own work. True, i could use any number of photographs from here (theres an over abundancey of beautiful ladies here on Suicide Girls, some I've known for quite some time too), whose pics I could use...I'm not going to use a "but", however if I use another photographers' photograph(s) then in truth its not my work, just a copy. That's the conundrum I face. I want my digital paintings to be of the models I shot. Is that too much to ask? Anyway it's been a long time since I've felt this passionate about anything since my diagnosis years ago, I'm still worried about this outcome.

PS: As most also know, I don't shoot nudes, not full nudes like the sets here, I shoot pin up style, a hint of legs, behind, cleavage and even some side boobage but never explicit. I'm a fan of the 1940's and '50's style of "teasing". Does that make me a bad person or a good pin up photographer?
