Final thought.......

The fighting in Northern Ireland between the Protestants and the Catholics. Is that of the Holy Spirit or is that the desire of the human heart?

The suicide bombers in the Middle East. Are they of God or following their own miserable hearts?

The Crusades in the middle ages. Was that Gods way of fighting or the ways of man?

Is God about death and destruction? No. He is about life and making things new. Death is an enemy of God. God didn't create death but it came as the result of sin. Adam and Eve were the first to sin. If that sin never happened animals would still be vegetarians and people would be also. Genesis 1:29-30 is proof. Only after sin did animals and humans kill. God isn't about death but it is the result of sin.

Because God loves us so much, He provided THE way to eternal life. Jesus came from His Kingdom in heaven and chose to die for us on the cross. All those who believe in Him and receive Him as Lord and Savior will spend eternity in heaven. Even before they get to heaven God gives them a new life. Those who reject Him will receive the consequences of sin and that is death.
