Tuesday was an amazing day! I felt that God was with me that day. I meant to read the gospel of Matthew but as I was turning to it my hand was on the book of Psalms. I felt that God was speaking to me when my eyes caught Psalm 128. I felt that was and is God's promise to me if I do what is right in His sight.
I am also having trouble at work with the owner. He is a very grumpy old man and is always yelling at me. I can't stand it! I feel like a liability everyplace that I work. Anyway, I put on the radio that night and listened to Charles Stanley. The message was "How to get the most out of your work place". God knew that I needed to hear that message. Was that a coincidence or was it God? I believe that God arranged that to happen. I am not perfect and still sin but God truly wants a relationship with me. He proved it again to me that night!
My joy would be so great if I could quit sinning. I feel far away from God again. Like OB 1 Canobi said to Luke Skywalker. "Luke don't rely on your feelings but use the force". The relationship with God is the same way. Your feelings are deceptive and will tear apart your relationship. If you want to have a strong relationship with God you have to rely on the word (bible) of God. You can't grow if you rely on your feelings. Somehow I have to learn how to do that.
Oh. To have that relationship you have to be Born Again. That means to be born of the Spirit. That is the only way to become a true Christian.
