Ok, cyberspace people. I'm in abit of a pickle here.I am borderline retarded when it comes to reading girls. Honestly. Right now I'm in a situation where I can't tell if a girl I've been talking to is actually interested in me or she's just that friendly. I've known her for sometime but we lost contact for a few months. We started hanging out again recently. She came to a show with me, to a genre of music that is really out of he element. At the show she was making some catty remarks about my ex who was there. Things like "She's trying so hard" and "She has no tits". It made me smile, I'll admit. A week later we hung out. She had her friends but spent most of the evening talking to me away from them. Day after that we hung out. Then yesterday we grabbed lunch. I can't tell if this girl just really wants a friend or she wants something more. Now, I can hear everyone's minds churning and thinking either ask her or wait it out. Problem with both of those options are I don't want to ask her and then look like a fool or creep her out. I also don't wanna wait and see because then maybe the opportunity will disapear. We really have no mutual friends so asking them to talk to her about it is out of the question. So, my question is how do you think I should go about this? What's a subtle way of finding out? Ugh, I hate this whole romance thing. It fucking sucks.
Have you tried throwing some more adventurous comments in there? Like instead of just asking her outright, maybe just sprinkle a few kinda romantic, fun things into the conversation ("i wish you could see you every night" or whatever suits you) just to gauge her reaction. Then maybe you could take it further /back off depending on her response.
Bear in mind though, that i really have no clue, like everyone else.
