who's ready for the news?
i found out what my lady's "something to tell me" was...
ready?

.
she was at dinner with her mom, and her mom just says "so what *is* the relationship between you and kevin?"
(as far as they know, we dated once in 8th grade, and now we're just good friends)
she thought to herself "well, if she's going to ask..."
and told her "yah, we're getting married. he's gonna ask ya'll in march."
!!!
it went over quite well, i'm told. no fits. none.
though i'm told her father wants to have a talk with me about how his daughter should be treated. but that's just a fatherly thing. so i'm not offended by it.
apparently the man respects me.
