so i wake up yesterday and my DSL light is blinking
the one that's supposed to not-blink.
i was pissed.
i go downstairs, and the god damn telephone has no dialtone.
but, i mean, we paid the bill.
so i call verizon and they said it was my fault.
i was like "bitches, it worked when i went to bed."
and of course, it was sunday, so they couldn't fix it til at least the next day.
then the tech comes out, says "no, it's fine"
so i called again and was like "fine my ass. i can't make phone calls or use the internet. i'm digitally marooned. fix this."
they send another tech out. fixes the line in 3 minutes.

i swear to god...

on a happier note, i get to go tell people "no, we are out of ps2s/xboxes/ds' until january" all day

i think the new girl at work likes me.
well, we have like 4 new girls. our staff went from 100% male to 40% male. and it doubled in size.
go figure.
the cute one, though
too bad for her, i'm practically married
