i still feel the cold
of long past days
i knew my worth
put in my place
it's no surprise
i realized some time before

december

sun shines through haze
i put my thoughts
toward future days
it's no surprise
i close my eyes
and close the door

feeling so old
years pass like days
fastly changing
so many ways
my eyes perceive
yes i believe in nothing more

gumbercules:
no crucifictions. skinny puppy is an acquired taste...kind of like throbbing gristle or einstrzende neubauten. they're all legendary within the electronic industrial pantheon of gods, but you really have to appreciate what they do to...um...appreciate what they do. i feel that all of the above mentioned bands are as vital and interesting today as they were when they formed, and since a lot of the industrial bands you seem to like are what i would consider 2nd or 3rd generation industrial (i'm kind of very old school...bands like NIN & Gravity Kills wouldn't exist without TG, Ministry, EN & definitely Skinny Puppy having paved the way with their musical explorations and innovations) i think you might enjoy delving into the history of the music you enjoy. Please don't get me wrong. I love NIN & Manson, and much of the newer crop of electeonic artists. I just think it's important (and would probably be musically inspirational to you as well) to dig into the past. there is some brilliant stuff out there that deserves your attention.

well, i've enjoyed this little diatribe, and hope you have too. besides being an active recording electro guy, i like to consider myself somewhat of a historian of electronic music, and feel that it's important to spread the word.

...hope you don't think i'm an idiot.
