so i got home last night at 2
and i realized that i had let my mother use my keys, because she lost hers and needed to go out.

which meant i couldn't get back in.
and being the nice guy i am, i didn't want to beat on the door and wake someone up just to let my sorry ass in the house.
so i walked around town for 5 hours.

i was sitting on the corner of this cheesesteak place, just writing some drums out, and a cop drove by. i guess a guy sitting on a corner under a streetlight at 3:30 in the morning isn't shady enough.

i woke up and i kicked a glass off my nightstand. so i spent my first waking moments picking up broken glass.
today is not turning out to be a good day.

guitar center had junk for workstations. besides, i can pretty much generate any sound i need.
i feel like i'm missing something though. i have a midi controller, a synthesizer, a tweak box, rhythm machine, drum machine, a sound card w/a 1/4in in/out. software sequencers, mixers, arrangers. i don't *need* anything.
maybe a mic.
maybe.
but my korg has a vocoder. and i like vocoders.

i got a handwritten letter from the jehovah's witnesses with a bible tract in it. i think i'm going to write "joanne" back and tell her that solicitation like this makes me wanna fight a bitch.
