THAT CONCERT WAS FUCKING AMAZING!!!!

It was really neat.

Otep wasn't there... They were replaced by someband that I hadnt heard of before, but I didnt get a chance to hear them play... Oh well.

So first was Shadows Fall who, unsurprisingly, weren't too impressive. I mean I like them but... *shrug* I don't like their frontman... Tho his dreds are fucking awesome.

But yeah... Then we started smelling weed. i dont smoke weed but god if it isn't the greatest smell in the world...

Then Lamb of God comes on and they're sucking pretty badly, which sucks cause I really like them.

My buddy leaves to "go get cigarettes" which I later find out means, "I'm jealous of the pot having people so I'm gonna go roll a joint."

So he goes and does that.

In the meantime I'm watching Lamb of God and after their third or fourth song they start to really kick ass. I mean REALLY kick ass.

At one point they were able to get three mosh pits going all at once.

They were trying to get the entire floor to make one huge mosh pit, but it didnt work out. But they got a larger mosh pit going than Slipknot did. Slipknot didnt even come close to Lamb of God. And after that performance, I was wondering if Slipknot would even be able to out do them...

Boy was I foolish...

But first an interlude...

While my friend was outside smokin a doobie they would have said 30 years ago... there was a bit of rioting... which is always fun to watch.

The floor got bumrushed by people that were in seating. It was awesome watching the piggys and wannabe piggys run around trying to catch people. I laughed. But I was happy up in the seats, so it was all good.

But then my buddy calls and tells me that they wont let him go back into the place because of the small rioting thingy.

So I go down stairs to try and get them to let him in.

They wont.

But there are people that are just out there to smoke and they are being let in and out as they please.

So my buddy gets annoyed, lights up a cigarette, hops the little fence that seperates the smokers from the pariahs, puts his cigarette back out, and strolls into the place.

And we get back in perfect time for Slipknot.

And Slipknot amazed the fuck outta me...

The entire time I was standing, banging my head, slaming my body around...

It was great.

Joey had this badass drum solo where him and his drum set went up on hydrolics and then fipped forward so that the top of his head was facing the crowd. then everything went dark and he was still wailing away and these lights lit up on the platform he was on to form a pentagram.

It was so fucking sweet.

And the guy who does the turn tables (I'm not a huge fan so I cant match most of their names to numbers to masks), he was great.

Running around and riding the heavy percussion like they were mechanical bulls(they were also on hydrolics).

Climbing onto 8 foot apeakers and jumping down off of stuff. He is my favorite. He's fucking wild.

Paul wasn't there, sadly enough. He's in the hospital for some reason. They didn't explain, but by asking the right people I might have an answer soon. Hope he get's better fast.

It was an amazingly long one too. Three and a half hour long concert.

I've never been to one so long...

They usually dont get past two hours, as per my experience.
