My computer crashed.
I was having trouble getting it to run for more than a few minutes without freezing up.
Viruses.
So I called up this computer tech company that mums boyfriend had used the week before. They come right out to you and in theory work on it right there and get it running. Unless is extra complicated, and then they take it with them and return it the next day.
Unless its my computer.
And then this computer tech guy calls you up the following morning and says "Your computer has more viruses than Ive ever seen." And keeps it an extra day. Then returns the following day with a new hard drive in your computer, and the old harddrive to plug in externally and pick through the viruses and try to pull the neccessary files off.
Course at that point the hard drive failed completely. And wont even boot.
So i have my 'like new' completely empty computer. And they have my dead hard drive to attempt to pull off what they can back at their office.
Till a day later, when the new hard drive fails.
So yet again I am making arrangements to meet up with this computer guy.
So now, on hard drive number 3 it seems to finally be working. And though it is going slow, they are still working on recovering my data from my original hard drive.
But in the process I also managed to get a date.
So I now have a date with a cute tatooed computer geek to schedule in between my new hectic schedule.
I put an end to my period of unemployment this week and went out applying to service industry jobs till I found somone willing to hire me starting that week. It didnt take long. About 30 mins really. So I now have a lunch shift job at a restaurant right next to mums office, so we can carpool, and if i get off early i can still help her out with the temp work in the office.
Then I have a nite shift job at the local strip club as a cocktail waitress. Im actually very excited about this job. For a couple reasons. One of which is my uniform includes a corset. Thats about all it includes, but i am very contentedly putting it on and running around fo 8 hrs bringing people drinks. That and the money should be very good. I might not have to be so far in debt anymore.
And I got my renter back for my house!
All in all its been a good week.
