My time is valuable.
Apparently some people dont get that, but it is.
That means you shouldnt call me up and ask me to work, and then after ive arranged my schedule to be available, change your mind and say you dont need me after all. It means that when i take the time out of all the chaos of moving to make sure i am still in town (and not taking another carload of things to Raleigh) on a nite when you are off, then you should hang out, not wait for me to call and then say youve decided your too tired/dont feel like it and leaving me making that drive at 11pm cause i waited so long hoping we would actually have some fun. It means if you call me up and schedule a time to come buy and look at my house because you might be interested in renting it, then you should actually show up at the time we schedule, or at least have the decency to call and cancel, so i dont spend the entire afternoon sitting there waiting, and trying to call you to find out if your late, or just not coming. That and i wont wast my time driving back home from work or back up from Raleigh when i had no other reason to be in VA that day.
I have a lot on my plate right now. Two jobs, applying/interviewing/training for new ones in Raleigh. Things to move, a house to clean up and rent out.
That is stressful and time consuming enough without people wasting it.
