So I generally don’t like to post things like this on SG, but I’m absolutely devastated and at such a loss of what else I can do.
Nearly four days ago now, roughly just after 5am it’s suspected that someone opened the side gate to my home and either let my dog out or has taken him.
My Fur baby is missing!! Lost or stolen!! 😭😭
I’ve checked with all the veterinarian surgery’s near me as well as the pound. I’ve put a lock on his microchip in the event that he has been stolen so that no one can change his ownership details. I’ve called the local police in case they’ve had any calls to retrieve a body if any have been hit by cars. I’ve posted on more social media groups than I can count and tomorrow I’ll be expanding my vet search and attempting to do flyer letter box drops within my street.
Has anyone had similar experiences? What did you do to keep your strength and hopes up? How long did it take you to find your pet?
I’m absolutely gutted 😭 I cannot even fathom the idea of someone going into someone else’s home and stealing a dog.
