So I've been talking to a guy for a few weeks now, we were introduced through a friend of a friend. He seemed really interested and quite engaging to talk to so after a week I ballsed up and asked him out for coffee.
He said yes 😊
We organised to meet today after I finished work, him having the whole day off he was going to drive out to meet me. I had a bad feeling as he'd been quite for a few days so I msged to confirm our date.
His response was, sorry I'm not going to be able to make it. When I suggested we reschedule he busted out with "I can't, I've been chatting to someone else and it might develop into something."
*sigh*
So I had a terrible day today. This is the second time this has happened to me where a guy I invest time into who seems totally into me and is a potential prospect to date has turned around and said they're also seeing someone else.
What is with men? I don't understand. Why chat someone up, agree to go out to coffee and leave it to the day of the date to bail.
Sometimes I feel like it's just gonna be me, a bottle-o-wine and Bridget Jones' Diary.
