Wow what a week!!
As some of you may know it was my birthday a few days ago and I turned 25!
Yup, I'm a quarter of a century old now. Time for the adventures to begin!!
I'm a big fan of the 'self gifter' and for those of you who might not know what I'm talking about it's basically giving yourself presents when it's Christmas, birthdays or errrr any holiday.... Just because!
This year for my birthday I decided to gift myself a month long trip around Europe!!! Wooooo!!
I fly out in 7 days!!!!
I'll be traveling through 13 countries in just under 30 days so to say it's going to be an action packed holiday is an understatement. Last year I traveled to Africa and if you haven't read my blog on those adventures I definitely think you should Africa Blog Here's the link :)
I'll be keeping another travel journal as I go and trying to post pictures and such from different countries but I'll be relying on WiFi so they may be few and far between. Apologies in advance if I'm AWOL for a while guys!! Expect a huge Blog when I get home though.
On my bucket list of places to see is Venice <3 Seriously who doesn't want to sit in a Gondola and sail down the canals of Venice :) I'm also super excited to see France. So many places too see and what will seem like such little time in each country. I'll be back to Europe i'm sure!
France brings me to my next birthday present. @puffin has been working so hard and editing like an absolute machine and sent me the set I shot with her in January at the Sydney Shootfest! She's amazing and I am beyond ecstatic with how this set came out. Seriously the best present I could have received. The 29th of May also marked my 1 year on this site. The very first set @puffin and I shot Blue Monday was accepted and went into the que.
I posted a few behind the scenes photos on my instagram as well as my account here from the Sydney Shootfest but in case you forgot what I looked like for that set here is a sneak peak!
I tried this time around to have more of a Burlesque feel/setting to it and really tried to harness my inner Ditta Von Teese and I think I managed to pull it off!
With all the lace and Burlesque/Pin Up feel to it I've decided to call the set L'amour.

As far as birthday's go it was spanning out to be a pretty awesome one. I took my puppies to the vets to get their yearly vaccinations and the vet managed to get my girls mouth open (I'm so surprised she didn't try to bite him) and look under her tongue. She had a cancerous tumor removed a few months ago and I got told that it would most likely grow back if not spread. Thankfully it hasn't grown back! I'm hoping that it doesn't spread and I get to spend a few more years with her yet. <3
It's safe to safe I drank copious amounts of tea on my birthday and chilled out and watched some movies with my sister. I did so much running around and trying to organize things for my trip and get last minute purchases that I almost missed my evening outing. My brother and his girlfriend took me out at night to go and see the new Mad Max movie which was ok.... I don't really know how I feel about it to be honest haha.
That pretty much sums up my birthday and gives you all a sneak at what I'll be up to over the next month! Make sure to stay tuned for some holiday snaps and heaps of tourist posts :)
