Sorry I've been a bit absent this week. With my trip to Africa creeping up faster and faster I'm in a mad dash to get my final vaccinations done, camping/trekking gear all ready and packed in between working my full time job. It doesn't give me much free time!
Today was another miserably freezing day in Sydney and to top it all off I had to go into the city to have my final needles. This is normally a pleasant trip and would have been again today if it wasn't for all the track work on the train lines being done. Booo :( I had to get two buses and a train to finally reach my destination- a whole two hours on public transport in the freezing rain. TWO HOURS :( :(
Two jabs later and my face looked like this :(
I had to get two band-aids after my jabs kept bleeding and the doctor telling me "I'm too delicate" haha
On the plus side I had celebratory drinks last night as a last 'farewell' with my friends before I fly out in a few weeks. Preeeeety sure I drank a whole bottle of wine haha. Cheeks flushed and a face full of the giggles :) Fun night ladies and gentlemen :)
Right now though I'm sore, tired and cold and just want to snuggled up in bed with a blanket and a cuppa and watch a movie <3
