Hey Lovelies :)
This weeks blog homework by @lyxzen (@charmaine @missy) was to describe your perfect day. If you couldn't tell from my last blog post I am very much a book nerd and a TV show buff- I mean who wouldn't get hooked on TV shows or books when you have umpteen hours to read and episodes to get attached to your favorite characters and then BAM something drastic happens to them- yeah thanks for that George R.R Martin I'm still recovering :( GOT withdrawals- if symptoms persist see a doctor :(
I'm also a massive tea drinker- seriously my nickname isn't Kettle just for fun. I'm that 24 year old that spent a massive chunk of her childhood with her grandparents playing outside, looking through family photo's, learning to knit and of course drinking 'girls tea'....seriously it's like half a tea bag dunked a few times with two tea spoons of sugar and heaps of milk haha. So beyond sweet! Thankfully I like my tea with no sugar now (teabag left in) and hardly any milk. Give me a strong dark tea any time of day!
I'm a country girl at heart so my perfect day would have to start and end in the country <3 Ever since I could walk I was outside! I have the fondest memories of being outside in Tamworth following my pop around his farm. He was my absolute idol and still is to this day.
Yep that's me nearly 20 years apart!
There's nothing more rewarding than working outside, especially when animals are involved. Pets are family- I mean seriously look at how stoked this little lady is that I'm playing with her! This face just screams "love me"
There's nothing quite like a rainy country day or a country sunset! On a rainy day it's absolutely perfect to stay indoors and read that favorite book that you have read a million times before- the pages almost falling out and the spine worn because you just can't get enough of it for hours and hours while you listen to the rain as it hit's the roof <3
In summer though when the sun sets just behind the hill- Oh it's glorious. I don't think I've seen something so stunning!
Any day in the country is a perfect day for me <3
