New York
My first - but not last - time in America. There were a lot of differences between what I've heard about NY and what I've seen. I think it's because we know the most from tv and movies, but they are not completely realistic.
I thought the most of the city was similar to Lower Manhattan, or at least to Times Square,
but I found that the most of the boroughs were instead more classic, and more similar to European cities (one for all, London). WIth differencies, obviously. A very serious city, in some way.
Anyway I had a great time, mainly because I needed a vacation and some relax instead of thinking about everything related to the real life, and the friend with me is the best person I know, my very best friend since I was a child.
We do love to eat <3 and NY is perfect to eat a lot!
Many people in NY took a picture of us, muahahhaha. A photographer asked me to take a portrait of me, I don't know why, and when we went to the gay pride many people thought we were a cute lesbian couple, so they asked us to take pictures O.o we went to the parade just because we support their fight (in this period we know they are going to vote for gay marriage - or did they already voted?)
and because the parade itself it's a great and funny event.
We joined the American Civil Liberties Union group, so we danced through all the parade with them. But midday it's not the correct hour to dance in the street under the sun @.@
No more pictures because I'm lazy - but they are a bunch for my standard.

I can't believe you don't like cheesecake! I think it's the best and it doesn't really taste much of cheese to me. I take it you don't put a slice of cheese on an apple pie like I've heard they do in America, then?
Do you like cheese normally?
Anyway, I hope your studying is going well. Not much going on here right now except people walking past my window muttering things they don't know I can hear.
And in Prague, it's just randomly, cause there is one policeman in every single street, actually. Never seen so much policemen !
