This week's assignment by @rambo, @lyxzen and @charmaine was to talk about our favorite costumes, but I couldn't choose one, so I'll separate them by kind of event :)
My favorite costume from all my grownup life is one I made for the biggest birthday party I've ever had. I worked for weeks to make an Artemis, the greek goddess for the hunt, wild animals, wilderness, chilbirth, virginity and protector of young girls. It was cosplay (an intent at least) for the Saint Seyia version of the dieity. This is the only photo I could find:
My favorite costume for costume-for-no-good-reason kind'a night out is my deceased vinileather corsette and my long gone santin gloves. They were lost to me once I let a cousin borrow them, and I learned a harsh lesson: Don't let people borrow things that are precious to you unless you're willing to say goodbye to them :(
