after a full blown scan for adware, spyware and keystroke loggers to find nothing on my work laptop, i installed a firewall and blocked everything except my work applications.

as soon as i finish doing all that, i get yet another email about internet activity. blah blah blah, you are being logged, blah blah blah, big brother is watching you, blah blah blah, work harder. and right at the bottom is this side note that shocked me and violated me at the same time.
"some of you might not know this, but ******* is also logging all internet messenger conversations and highlighting certain words and adding them to a report"

i know that when you are at work, your employer has the right to be in your privacy when it's related to work, but logging all messenger conversations? i felt like i was just fucked in the ass with out a kiss. then i started to smile, knowing that just yesterday i was told that i wasn't in trouble "yet", because i started thinking about the person reading MY chat conversations and wondering if they were blushing or saved it for jack or jill material.
