so i did it. yes, i broke down and fed into our lovely debt based economy and put a laptop on my credit card...*sigh* i'm both thrilled and terrified at the prospect of never being out of debt for as long as i live. but who really cares when i have shiny new toys to play with!!! 
the worst part about internet shopping besides how insanely easy it is is that i won't get it for at least two weeks. 
also, i just have to mention how insanely pathetic it is that i couldn't actually push the final "confirm" button myself, and had to have a friend do it for me. yeah, i'm lame. but soon to be lame with a shiny new laptop. yay!!!!
tomorrow i'm off to the doctor to figure out why something died in my lungs, what it is and how to remove it. maybe i should just quit smoking....
