Well, it's been an exciting few weeks. I don't have much to say, except YAY ME!
Both of my undergraduate thesis received honors!!! So that's a huge relief.
I've subletted my apartment for the summer - I'm leaving on May 15th for Key Largo where I'll be getting my rescue and dive master certifications while working a dive shop. Very very exciting - I know it will be a lot of work, but so wonderful.
I still need a place to stay in Key Largo from May 15 - June 29!!
I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive room/couch/floor to sleep on while I'm there. I'm nice and quiet and responsible. If anyone can help me out with this, I'd really appriciate it.
Things are all moving along quite nicely...the journal I edit is coming out soon, as are the next three books from the press I work for. And I just had two poems published with a local press - came out this week.
I'm starting work on some new projects, and finishing the semester. Scarily enough, it's time to start thinking about moving on.
It's really starting to hit me: next semester will be my last. And as much as I'm ready to move on in life, it's a little sad thinking about leaving the place that for the past four years has been my home.
But for now I'm too excited about what's coming next to feel too sad.
