Tired. Sorry for not having updated more, but school started and my life stopped. I've barely given myself a moment to breathe since the beginning of the semester. But the good news is now I have a full staff for the literary journal, and a full senate, which means I can start delagating things!
I'm just exhausted all the time. Plus I took on an internship with a small start-up press here in Boston. The vision of the press is that writers should define the market, not the other way around. Small presses are the soil out of which culture defining literature grows, and I'm really excited to be working with the people involved. Our second and third books are coming out in December and, if I do say so myself, they are incredible!
Of course, my theses (all two and a half of them) are not taking as much priority as they should be....
I've been wishing for graduation. I have a bookshelf of books I'm waiting to read, and I've already started planning my post-grad trip to Peru and back to Chile. If I could I'd be in Chile right now....it is really my most favorite place on earth.

One of the nice things about living alone is the freedom to spend all day in your underwear. As this is the only straight-on clear shot of my tattoo I have, and a few people asked about it, I figured I'd explain that the pleasure of being mostly or all naked in the privacy of my home is unsurpassed.



I'm planning on extending it up to my hip - I have a design in mind, but haven't contacted an artist yet due to excessive brokeness.

So I need to get a cheap (or free) copy of Photoshop, and InDesign as well - anyone know how? I have them at work on my mac but at home on my pc I have nothing - and for some reason the University won't let me take their liscense and software home for my computer.

It's been raining here for over a week. I know I have no right to complain, what with earthquakes and flooding and hurricanes and all. So instead, I've become comfortably settled in the dampness, the slight chill - the reminder that it is only going to get colder for a very long time. But it's these times that I have having curly hair.

OH! I am so extrodinarily happy and excited! One of my best friend's website just went up, and it has my most favorite song of all time ever on it and everyone should go listen to it right now. Brendan Little
The song is "LIke a Drug" and is one of the most beautiful things ever written. Of course I'm biased, but he's so awesome. And just to brag a little he was in Billboard as a rising star a few weeks ago, and will be on MTV in a few days on their "New Artist Profile" thing. So check it out, and there will be a quiz later and anyone who fails will be ignored forever.
