so my friends' hardcore band played their debut set tonight remember, the band? for which i kenyon was initially solicited to provide earsplitting vocals and that inevitable twist of sexuality in my stage presence?? the offer which i was so devastated to have to decline?
anyway, it sounds like it went amazingly, tons of old friends came out to support the scene. and because i couldn't be there, the fact that it went so well is second only to a brief and selfish fantasy of the whole place burning down so no one could enjoy the experience if i couldn't. but i'll settle for the show went awesome.

Well, I'm glad it went so good for them. But I'm sure it kinda stung a bit. It's probably for the best that the place didn't get torched though, all said and done. Probably.
