fuck yeah, my one friend who needed the liver got one. surgery went from 6 am to noon. haven't heard anything about complications . . . so weird that she was just laying there unconscious on a respirator, waiting for someone to die, for their organs to be "harvested." fingers crossed.

meanwhile, my other friend got his right ball hacked off yesterday. the cancer metastasized but it still seems treatable.

i still feel like crap, but i don't care. just dragged myself out to breakfast with some friends, including an old and dear one who's visiting from nyc. i like my coffe with a side of bacon.
