worked hard all day.
it's all crackly cold outside, clear-skied. the heat is cranked and i'm in flannels. i'm so cozy it's absurd.
i just plugged in my little xmas tree. began reclaiming xmas a few years ago and now i'm domestic as shit about it. i was up all sunday night baking nine fruitcakes industrual style. they're wrapped in rum-and-liquer-soaked cheesecloth, waiting to be dispensed.
exhaustion. what i really just want is a foot massage from a robot with very human hands while i lie back and read nicole krauss's new book.

of course i will. i'm pretty beat myself, plus i got a long ass day tomorrow, so i can't stay late.
