i think i have a problem with smiling women which probably reflects some sort of media-induced brainwashing. i just noticed that my profile pic, as well as the profile pics of my favorites, and in fact all the pics in my favorites folder (save 2 that allow for a sort of "knowing" smirk/sneer) are deadpan. fashion models don't smile, right? at least, not the high-fashion kind. and normally, in real life, i like smiling girls! fuck, i think "they" got me.

then again, maybe it's just the angsty poetess in me. i took an acting class when i was like 13, and the teacher made a point to always give me funny scenes cuz of my proclivity to drift toward weepy melodrama.
