So it has been a while once more!
It is coming up to 10 years of being together with Lady T, which is very, very scary! Not the amount of time that we have been together but the fact that it has gone so quickly. It has been a decade of my life and it feels like ten minutes. I guess that is a good sign - if it felt like a lifetime then it would probably mean something wasnt going particularly well.
I still cant believe that I met someone on my doorstep, got chatting, went for a drink and then 5 years down the line got married and still happily married 5 years later. (the story is that she was selling some random student discount card before she went to uni - and I thought she was quite cute and the worse that could happen was she would say no when i asked her to go out for a drink!)
It hasnt been easy, but we seem to making a good go of it. Anyway, I just thought I would share that - it was on my mind!
Other things going off - work is hectic! I am working on trying to secure the Soccer World Cup to come to Nottingham which is huuuuuuugge and creating a lot of stress in the office. It's not exactly what we do but such a wicked opportunity to work on something like this.
Festival season - if only I had a billion pounds to go to every festival in the world! Instead we are off to Big Chill (as usual) and cant wait. Orbital, Spiritualised, Lamb, Friendly Fires, Chrome Hoof, Octave One, Slam, etc etc and a load of bands that I have never heard of.
We will be celebrating our 10th on the second day there - pie, chips, gravy and champagne! WOO HOO.
And then its my birthday! 33 years old :gulp: and we are having a mini festival in our garden - tents, bbq's music and the mad old dear next door shouting at us (well, not us, the imaginary people she see's - it is quite sadening sometimes).
Gigs update: going to see Biffy Clyro, Depeche Mode, Bill Bailey, Rival Schools and Bat for Lashes in the next few months
See ya, KF

And yeah, leaving a good festival is the worst.
