EEEURGGGHHH! SNIFF. 
I have been really ill for the past few days with the Flu - you know when people say 'oh I have the flu' and are still standing there talking to you. BOLLOCKS! I have just spent 4 days sweating, hallucinating and not knowing what planet I am on (and didn't take anything to be there for once). Plus it wasnt one of bouts of 'man flu' either. I dont mind if it meant a few days off work but when most of it was over the weekend that annoys me even more - damn that pesky illness.
Anyway, I am clearly hankering for a bit of tea and sympathy here
The gig front has gone all quiet for Christmas, although next year is starting to look pretty darn good - Metallica, Alkaline Trio, Gaslight Anthem, Erol Alkan and oooh, just bought my Big Chill tickets - Orbital are to reform and play there which is basically orgasmic (see music fav's!). Lady T said she thought I was more excited by that announcement than I was when we got married (close - but the wedding just shaved it) Oh and I am off to see the Killers (the wifes choice) honest. no really.
Good news! I have just found out I have got my first dj'in gig in Notts since I moved here. A night called 'Destroy' will have music from dub, funk, hip hop, breaks, techno and everything else thrown in for good measure. We are having a bit of a cabaret evening with music quizzes, bring your own cd's and even live bands. Watch this space for pics and updates in the new year.
Oh and New Years plans are underway...
