Shipped my first "mechanical sample" prototype last Saturday. Non-functional, but a marketing tool for my distributor to show prospective customers. Called him on Monday and told him not to use it - it looked like shit.
Thursday I managed a really good-looking one; it took 'way too long. Back to the drawing board on my adhesive system.
Firedanced tonight! My second time, ever. I've been practicing, but my wicks are lame. My hippie neighbors had a party and one of them dances with poi. She let me borrow her wicks and light up. It was great! Much smoother than my first time. If I may say so myself, this boy has some moves. Not bad looking in that wife beater, either. My angel four-year-old got tired at the party. I gave him a blanket and my coat as a pillow and he just passed out. No tantrum, no whining - it could have gone soooo badly, but he just laid down and let me play.
Back home and checked this week's SG journals and a thread. Fell madly in love with Dia. If I wrote to her as much as I want, I'd never do anything else. NOT HEALTHY. Just smile and back away . . . She seems to have that affect on a lot of people.
I am now going to try to add my photo to the site. Wish me luck. I've debated long and hard which one to put in, and I've decided on the fatherly image that shows my fat thighs. Feel free to contact me if it's disgusting and I'll put in something less obviously human.
