<Al Says: Do you ever find yourself hearing a song you've heard for years that you enjoy but never paid much attention to and all of a sudden you listen to the words and realize it's really fucked up? It's an odd experience.

I don't remember dreaming last night.>

Specifics please, Al. What song, by who? You're already naked - there's no reason to be coy.

There are a few that get me that way. "Call And Answer" by Barenaked Ladies - a beautiful song of love and devotion, until you listen to the words. "The Chemicals Between Us" by Bush - I thought it was about passion and "chemistry" until I bought the CD. I now suspect that it's a guy chewing his girlfriend out for ruining their relationship with her addictions. Not sure, though.
Fortunately it still rocks.

My dreams lately have been the weirdest EVER. But this isn't about me.

Do you ever have a song and you can't agree with your best friend about the meaning of the lyrics because your best friend is an idiot? Pink Floyd's "Great Gig In The Sky" is about dying; she says it's a woman having an orgasm. Concrete Blonde's "Goodbye Wendy" is about a girl deciding to kill herself. She says she doesn't know what it's about, but it can't be that. Sheesh.

My dreams lately? Going to the house my sister used to live in and finding a guy chaining his children in a cave all day. I woke up once they started shooting at me.
Last night - I was hugely pregnant (being male, that was especially unusual) and the people I was counting on to get me to a hospital were useless. I might have issues, or it may just be indigestion.

If your mood cycles every six months or so, its bipolar disorder. Lithium has brutal side effects, but it stabilizes your mood. If the ups and downs are every few days or weeks, it may be a food allergy, or simply "moodiness" defying definition as a medical condition. I was on antidepressants for 6 years - off for 7 now - I don't know that they saved my life, but I'm confident things would have been much, much worse without them.
