So, It's 10:30 on a Friday night, and I'm going to bed. I'm not going to DP to watch girls and smile at London. I'm not going to dance tango. I'm not catching the 9:45 of V for Vendetta at Cinemagic. I'm not hanging out at that great-for-conversation bar downtown. I'm not going to stay up late finishing the latest level of Heroes of Might & Magic IV. I am not going to watch Land of the Dead director's cut on DVD. I am going to bed.
I need to do some soul-searching and figure out my priorities. Do I fill my time with these things because they are important to me, or because I need distraction from my daily fears and stress?
Fundamentally, my week has been very full and I need my rest. I would be a fool not to take it.
Mind you, if I had a date I would be ALL OVER that. It's amazing how a thing like feminine companionship can modify your priorities.
My business doubled in sales over the last three weeks. We brought on a new customer and they buried us in orders. I hired a new guy and brought in a temp to help cover it. By the middle of next week I think we will be caught up. I am so lucky to have the crew that I do. Great guys.
