So what's to say? I don't feel particularly interested in updating my journal at the moment...
Guess I'm kind of depressed lately. Usual life stuff: bills, work, the pursuit of gainful employment, the boyfriend, and what I've just discovered to be a potentially ill ratty friend. First things first, I'll have to get Lucy the incredibly cute rat to the vet.
Problem is that many vets won't see a rat or their knowledge is limited. I have a local vet that doesn't come in til the afternoon when I'm due at work for my 2nd shift drudgery. The specialist is almost 2 hours away. Grrr... my Lucy is acting fine but I believe her to have an urinary infection. Poor lil kid; she has a rough time of it. Multiple visits to the vet for this and that... all very expensive. The other rat, Luna, is as healthy as a horse and has never been at all. Good thing too. Luna will nip when cornered. Guess she takes after her mama
Life just sux sometimes. On the up side, I'll be getting my navel pierced twice more as soon as my titanium comes in. Finally, I won't be so ashamed of the crappy job that was done on the first attempt. The hole will survive but it was done much too close to the edge and at the wrong angle. Means I can't wear the keen batty navel ring I had for it. Instead I'm going to put a small CBR in that hole and add 2 more pierces on either side. Should be interesting. Especially if anyone punches me there.
Ah well, for someone with nothing to say I certainly filled up enough space.
