It's been a long time since I've had anything to say. Not because I've hiding, but because things are going good. Good stories are boring to tell and read. I've been on vacation, celebrated my 15th wedding anniversary, my 36th birthday and my wife's 37th.
So recap, I celebrated all of those things in Kentucky while at the Kentucky Bourbon Festival. I visited a decent sized city and spent a lot of time sampling the night life and the bar culture. I spent a lot of time in very small towns and enjoyed the people I met and interacted with. I even spent an afternoon underground in Mammoth Cave National Park. Loved that by the way. So much history there.
In a couple weeks I'm going to go to Colorado and visit Rocky Mountain National Park. My wife and I are going to celebrate her being cancer-free. Lots of photo opportunities and some time spent in the private hot tub that comes with the cabin we are renting.
So things are good. And that makes it hard to tell interesting stories. Hope your stories are very boring and very good.
