This week is going to go extremely slow. At least until Thursday. Then it will rush past faster than the mind can comprehend. Why? You might ask. Well, if you insist, it is because I am going on a road trip. And I can't wait. I've been planning this trip for months and can't wait. I'll be leaving Minnesota about 4:30 Thursday morning arriving in Nashville with barely enough time to get a drink before bed. Then on to Savannah, GA for a Friday night toast. South to Daytona Beach, Kennedy Space Center, some historic sites and Miami. Then the Everglades, Biscayne Bay and on down to Key West where I'll be taking a sea plane ride out to Dry Tortugas. And then back home through Pensacola, Memphis and St. Louis.
All in all a very long, but awesome road trip. I love seeing parts of the country I've never seen and I especially like the possibility of spending a cold holiday in warm weather. That's always a good thing.
