Seeking exercise tips & advice.

I have a torn disc in my lower back, i am going to invest in a waist trainer as i know they're helpful and i have a back brace i wear at work and for lifting things etc as it holds it in place so will be wearing one or the other when going gym or training at home.

What i am asking for is advice?
I am in pain 24 hours of the day but, i know if i train hard and deal with said pain temporarily i will grow stronger, get core strength enabling me to keep my back straight without support etc.

I need exercises that will help me tone up and feel good at the same time.

Anyone with knowledge of warm ups, cool downs is it haha? after you workout, physio tips to help with pain of exercising etc.

I want to get rid of the pot belly and cellulite my body has been storing up from being unfit, unhealthy for a long period of time due to this accident and its consequences both physically and mentally.

Mentally i am far better, in ways and could always use a good talking to #motivationalspeech haha but i am managing this better.
Physically i feel a lot worse, swollen, slumped, awkward, saggy & obviously its a lot harder to fight mental illness every day when your fighting with your body & how you look as well. I know helping one will in turn help the other.

Any comments, messages, advice etc members, other hopefuls & SG's could give i would really appreciate it :)

Mucho Love <3

Just like @gdofthnder70 said.  If you have access to a physical therapist.  I have dealt with a ruptured disc for a year now.  Between spinal injections and physical therapy, I feel like a new person.   The physical therapy is wonderful, but not all physical therapy doctors are the same.  The guy I see is fantastic.  I recently joined a gym and follow through with some of the prescribed exercises.  Herebis the number onebthing pt taught me.  Always pull your belly button inward with your stomach and low back muscles.  I have trained myself to do this all the time, watching tv, driving, walking, everything I do.   Yes, it is hard to concentrate and do all the time.  But just this one thing has already toned my abs, and lose about 10lbs without trying.  Remember usebyour muscles and not just suck your stomach in.  Love and hugs, Dave
