My brain is melting, mushing, going stale.
I have contracted ergophobia as a result of too much boondoggling.
It is time to look for a new job.
Money is not as important as mind.
Today I was given the glorious title of "Official Event Organiser" in an email to the team. On top of this I am also "Chief Admin Bitch" and "The Whore What... Read More
all of that sounds awesome, minus the you being on fire part. unless i knew there were some way you wouldn't be hurt. cause if you came out of it without and injuries, naked fire would be awesome. maybe.
I wrote a long blog about my visit to the local second hand book shop, which is closing today, about Ronald the proprietor and about my interesting 19th Century purchases. It is gone and I cannot be bothered to recreate it.
Here. exhausted. I am staying at a ghetto-fabulous hotel in Chelsea! There is a pub down the street, some food and a pint, then pass out, so I get wake early, have coffee and get my skinny yankee ass to the train station.
In 58 days I will be at Reading Festival. I will drink cider. I will get stoned. I will talk to new people. I will arrive back at my tent every morning at sunrise. I will amaze everyone with my powers of recovery.
And I might listen to some music too.
Of particular excitement to me at this present time are the following acts:
Hmm, Reading - had a good laugh there in '93 (highlights included Kevin Saunderson's set in the dance 'tent' and the slam pit during the Butthole Surfers), but it still doesn't compare to Glasters. Hope you enjoy it, though.
Your recent behaviour does you no justice. It is easy to hide behind the veil of alcohol, giving a sense of false confidence. If you bottle things up when sober how can you be expected to express yourself competently when drunk?
You have wonderful friends around you. If you could just step outside of your head for a while... Read More
I am irritated by mispronunciation. So much so that I will check an online dictionary just to satisfy my smug sense of accuracy.
We have processes to follow at work, which include terms such as "Call" and "Incident". They differ. They mean different things. They are different. I hear people using each term in the wrong context. The inaccuracy in their use of terminology irritates... Read More
it was called beauty and the beast, was on in the mid to late eighties when i was just wee, but i loved it. ron perlman who was in it has gone on to do big things too. . . the eighties, though - they were great. aye.
I think I might ditch my band. I am bored. I want something different. The guys listen to way to much Kelly Clarkson and Christina Aguilera for things to truly work. I am not that kind of singer. And the lyrics suck. Royally (apart from a few cheese embroiled lines that allow me to work my stinky magic on stage).
I trained today for the massage company. I start on Saturday. I am excited. (Don't let the lack of exclamation fool you, I really am.)
I also walked a fair few miles. Some of it beach side. I sat in one of the shelters on the sea front and admired the view (from behind my camera phone as any self respecting 21st Century person does).... Read More

Rock on. That'd be the most awesome job ever. Unless there are lots of like... old people. With all wrinkles and like, skin 2 sizes too big for them. Ok that little fantasy was short lived.
Gorgeous views, it makes me giggle that it's grey and overcast and reminds me of the time I went to Brighton with my olds, it ended up raining, but we were gonna have our day at the beach dammit. That place was kinda eerie and unsettling though, dunno what exactly it was, but it felt kind of like a carnival or something.
Doctor Dictionary is spying on me. He is in my head and he knows exactly how I'm feeling on most days. He emails me daily with a word, a description and it tends to match my mood.
In reverse order. Not all recent days applicable (we do... Read More
