In 58 days I will be at Reading Festival. I will drink cider. I will get stoned. I will talk to new people. I will arrive back at my tent every morning at sunrise. I will amaze everyone with my powers of recovery.
And I might listen to some music too.
Of particular excitement to me at this present time are the following acts:
Kings of Leon, Interpol, Gogol Bordello, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Patrick Wolf, Eagles of Death Metal, We Are Scientists, Biffy Clyro, The Young Knives, The Noisettes, Hot Hot Heat, Battles, Shiny Toy Guns, Unkle, Lethal Bizzle (cos I is from da street, innit), NIN, LCD Soundsystem, CSS, New Young Pony Club.
I have so much more to listen to and the list will undoubtedly grow.
A highlight of last year? The penis shaped poo that successfully induced vomiting after a drinking game. Honestly.
I am only telling you this so that those of you who aren't going can get really jealous and I can feel smug.

Hmm, Reading - had a good laugh there in '93 (highlights included Kevin Saunderson's set in the dance 'tent' and the slam pit during the Butthole Surfers), but it still doesn't compare to Glasters. Hope you enjoy it, though.
