okay so i had my first prenatal appointment today... fun shit... blood taken peeing into cups pap tests... those had to be designed by men... anyway nothing exciting except a shit load of tests... anyway my first ultrasound will be next friday... now that will really be exciting
my summer break starts on the 19th ans is well deserved... but since i didn't work the whole school year my summer pay will not be the for the whole summer, therefore, i have to work this summer... i am going to be the permanentsub for another teacher at my school who has been out for over 2 months now on medical... they can't replace her with me until she sys she doesn't want to come back... her job would mean a huge pay increase but also working the whole year through... &
i have sent out over 100 resumes to different private, charter, and magnent schools around the area and keep getting the same response..."we are not anticipating any opening in your field for the following year but will keep your resume on file. thank you for your interest in our school" that bites... oh well i have also filled out online applications for every district in a 30 mile radius from my house... no one needs an art teacher... do you all know that if i don't get a real teaching job this year my license is going to expire and if my license expires before someone from the state comes to observe me i can't get relicensed with out taking all the rediculous PRAXIS series tests over again... they are over $100 a pop and there are like 4 you have to take... i hate those tests... although i passed them all the first time i took them and would have no problem doing that again they are a real waste of money and time...
oh well everyone keep your fingers crossed and hope that i get a real teaching job for next year... if you know anyone who can pull some strings hook me up... i am licensed to teach art prek-12
on a better note i will be having an art show in september i will keep you all posted...
