so yesterday i sent out over 25 resumes and filled out 5 online applications... i am going to get a job teaching art next school year i am not fuckin' around... i am not by any means going to continue working for the ignorant fuckers that i work for now... now that i have said that wish me luck on the job search...
so i want to know when i am 80+ years old does that give me the right to be a total asshole to everyone i see... just asking because this guy at the grocery store sure felt he was allowed... this is how it went...
i am standing at the register (in my nice work cloths with no facial piercings in but my ears are showing...11 holes in each)
cashier: can i have your kroger plus card
me: *get card out and hand it to cashier*
old guy behind me: hey if i don't have a kroger card can i use my midas card
cashier:
old man: me make joke as those stupid chinese would say
me:

old man:*looking at me* so how many holes do you have to have in your head befor you qualify
me: i don't know i have 27 how many do i have to have
old man: i don't know you tell me if you qualify or not
me: qualify for what
old man: the freak show

no i think i need a few more
old man: well maybe you can get those in the next 6 months before they tour

me:* get my stamps and try to leave*
old man: so are you like those dumb chinese people

me: my mother and i have tattos of the icon i hope that doesn't make me a freak
so i was soooo broken up about how people can be such assholes... why do you ask... because since he was so old i did not feel it was right to speak my mind as i would have with anyone else... you know right now my hair is auburn...normal color... i was in work cloths... and the only thing remotely 'different' about me were my earrings... but to this guy i should have been in the freak show... and what was up with the chinese comments... i thought old people that had problems with asians had problems that stemed from the war... well they were not chinese now were they... like that matters what matters is just because he is old did not give him the right to be a dick and i should have spoken my mind... i am an adult and should not have to listen to that crap... i could have shown him how intelligent and tactful i can be an proved his stereotype of people like me wrong... but instead i kept my mouth shut and said nothing... damn... too late now
anyway...moving on... my friend sianyriot asked in her journal what everyone favorite and least favorite films were and why... i feel the need to share this information with all of you because i was just talking about it to her... i think the most artistic, greatest plot, most disturbing, best cinamatography that i have ever seen, is in the film the cook, the thief, his wife, and herlover... that film does things with color and set design that blew me away... mind you this film was made in 1990 so the color is not made or tweeked on the computer... if you have not seen this film i think it is a must see for all... except keep this in mind... it is very sick and twisted... it was rated X now NC-17 because of it's sick nature... so either don't eat before yo see it because you may get sick or make sure you do because you will have no appetite after viewing it...i loved it and if you do rent it make sure that it is not the edited version... most of the copies have the last scene removed... very sad when you get to the end (after already seeing the full film) and not seeing the closing scene you are used to... i love that film...
now the only movie i have ever left the theater during is freddy got fingered that movie was the most tasteless film i have ever seen... i usually don't mind sick movies (especially since the movie i was just talking about is quite sick) but this movie was sick and had no plot... it sucks in every way possible... stupid scene after stupid fucking scene never tying together and shit just to shock the viewer... well alot of artists i love do things just to shock the viewer... but this movie did not appeal to me at all... i suffered through 1/2 of the movie before i left then the other half when my brither made me watch it... he told me i would like it if i saw the whole thing... nope... it still SUCKED ASS...
so those are my movie reviews... if you have seen or do see the cook, the thief, his wife and her lover i would love to hear what you have to say about it... you either love it or hate it... that's how it goes...
