application rejected... need to try again...

new profife pic... the full sized image is in my photos...i've been reading up on html codes so I can make my web page i built yesterday really pretty... it is just a shitty free angelfire page but it is my first page ever... (note: this is not the page i have been talking about where you can buy my art on different products... i am not building that one... it is still to come)... i have not built any kind of web page since my freshman year in college and that was just laying out the design never launching it and no html codes were needed... i love learning new stuff it is always so great to have that feeling of accomplishment when you figure something out and use your new skill...
speaking of accomplishment...i made a new painting yesterday... i finished it at 3:00 AM... i am so in love with this painting as soon as the boy gets back in town i am going to have him take pics of it so i can post them... (i would take the pictures but he has the camera)... it is close to the same style as my 'she felt' paintings... very vibrant colors with words on the painting... except instead of stenciling the words on this time i printed them on trasnparencies (so you can see the painting behind the words of course) and glued them to the painting... i also put some fabric on this painting... i stapled some thin strips of gray and red fabric around the outside of the focus of the painting like a frame... do you want to know what the painting is of?? well i'll tell you as long as you promise not to steal my idea (why would anyone want to it's already been done) i painted a huge redbull can (i love those commercials) with extreme forced perspective in the brighest colors possible... the painting says... and as she drank her redbull... she waited for her wings... i am so addicted to redbull that i just had to do a painting about it... you all know that a redbull can is blue... i made the background red and yellow... so it is back to the primary colors for me...(painting in the primarys was an addiction in college for a while)
my boy is still gone it has been 7 days since i last saw him (that time he was only here for one day and gone the two days prior)... i miss him sooooooo bad he calls everyday but we only get to talk for a few minutes before he has to go off and work again... then by the time he is done working and can talk it is like 11:00 or 12:00 and he is exhausted and has to let me go so he can sleep... i hate micah's job it takes up all my time with him... but it pays the bills and he is looking for another job... photography season is about to pick up when the weather gets nicer... he will be able to get a portrait photography job easy when it is senior portrait season... (he rocks at portrait photography)... if anyone knows someone in need of a full time photographer in the columbus area please pass the info on... and while i am asking for information tell me if you hear of any schools needing an art teacher too... (i would love to be doing what i was trained to do)...
so i was talking about the weather earlier and i want to know what the fuck is up with it here in ohio... a couple days ago it was beautiful... it was so beautiful i wore no coat to work and made a spring time bullitin board with the kids...(we made butterflies, clouds, frogs, fish and flowers and posted them on the background i had made earler that week with a pond, fringy grass, and a huge sun... it was so cute)... anyway... it was really nice out... then it rained all day yesterday... and now it is fucking snowing again... make up your mind... this is why i get sick this time of year... it's not like i'm suprised by the weather i grew up in ohio but it just pisses me off... if it is going to snow it needs to snow enough that i can go snowboarding... i got a snowboard for christmas (the graphics on mine are so cute... a girl and her blue kitty ) and have not used it yet this season... (you know all the money troubles i had... i couldn't afford to go)...
well i just had a phone call and my friend is going to let me borrow her digital camera today so hopefully later this evening i will post a pic of my new painting... i have nothing else to say today except kisses to you all i need to go paint some more...
oh ya... doug has asked me to do a painting for him like the ones in my food series b/c the ones i already have are a bit too pricy for him... just in case there is anyone else out there that likes what i do and wants to commission me for a piece i am totally willing to do that... markmayhem and nicolelee are already on my list of people to paint for ...any other takers out there...
18" x 24" will cost around $150... you can guesstimate the cost for other sizes from that... pretty average price for oil paintings... let me know
