hey all I have been without the internet for a week and going crazy 
i am all moved and almost done setting up my new house 
it is so great not only do I have an organic market 2 blocks away where I can buy all my vegan stuff, but I also have a job that I start tomorrow 
life can't get better than that... oh I also forgot to say that since I've been here in columbus a ton of stuff has happened...
1.) I got to meet Alisa who is the greatest (and pretty too
)
2.) (remember how I moved because my boyfriend had this great job and teachers can work anywhere) my boyfriend Micah was fired
3.) I could only get the 42 week position at my new job instead of the 52 week which means a 4 dollar an hour pay cut and pro-rated pay for the summer
4.) I found the cutest stray kitty
outside in the snow and had to take her in (she smelled so bad 
but I cleaned her up all pretty) she is white tan and black calico I love her
5.) because of # 4 we now have one more mouth to feed (that makes 5 animals) and one less income to work with due to #2
6.) because of #6 we need to find a home for smelly cat (who no longer smells) so if you want the sweetest kitty ever tell me
7.) I spent all my money on projects for the house (i love to build stuff)
8.) my house was so dirty when I moved in that I spent most of my time cleaning... I thought that the knobs on my panrty were brass... they were silver... that's how much grease was on them
well I guess that's all that happened in a week but can you believe it... we moved here for his job and we're here 4 days and he gets fired... in the words of adam sandler "that's information that would have been useful a week ago!!!"
but I try to be a positive person and I believe there is a reason why we moved... these kids I'm going to be working with need me and the big boss told me that this center I am working in need a creative spirit...me...and I always wanted to be in columbus but just had no job to move for so this is all going to work out... I love my new house (despite the grime)
I love my neighborhood i love the organic market and I am only 2 minutes from the arts district how could you ask for more in life... oh i know I am also going to have my work published and sold this woman saw my work and wanted to put it in her magazine (just a local thing) and sell it... she is also going to have a show of my work, what fun so despite the set backs life in columbus is great...
anyone from columbus who knows good shows coming up or wants to hang let me know... I'm up for new friends
