Well, it's been eons since my last entry, but hey. There's been nothing to talk about. Nada. Zilch. Zip. Eh, you get it. When you live in the middle of nowhere and your sole excitement in life is getting ahead on your college homework, life is pretty dull. I had a job for two days, but I didn't feel like blowing myself up pumping gas into airplanes in a seriously unsafe environment. Pouring jet fuel into an engine that won't start to "prime it" just doesn't seem like a cunning plan to me. But then again, most rednecks last words are "Hey, ya'll! Watch this!"

Good news is that the planets aligned and I actually GOT the loan from Sallie Mae. So, in about a week, I'm off to Dallas/Fort Worth/Arlington, TX to finish up all of my flight training. About damn time, too. If it weren't for that accursed Hurricane Charley obliterating my school in Orlando, this would have been done months ago.

Bad news, my car needs a new tire. I'm the cheap bastard that buys them one at a time since I can't afford more than that. My left front tire is about to blow out. It's got that little bubble that gets bigger and bigger every day, and eventually it's gonna become a hole in the side of the tire. If I don't get it replaced, odds are it'll blow when I'm in the middle of nowhere without any cel phone coverage. I WAS going to hit up Memphis in May before I leave, but my car apparently decided that was a bad idea.
