Good god, do I hate my life....

So, I finally found an instructor that can tech in twin engine aircraft. Down side, he's only available two days a week. Well, THAT doesn't help me all that fucking much. So, I decided "Okay, I'll try to get two ratings at once." Nope. Foiled at that turn as well. The aircraft that I need to train for my single engine commercial rating and my flight instructor shit is going into the damn PAINT SHOP for a month. That's right, my career aspirations have been put on hold because they want their airplane to look "purdy."

Not one to get screwed over and whine without doing anything, I eventually said "Fuck this" and told them to send the money back to Sallie Mae, the money whore. There's a flight school in TX that's quoted me a price that is $2k less than what I would've paid here, and I get my multi-engine instructor ratings on top of that. Plus, I've got a friend going to that school in May, so I might be able to split living expenses that way.

Now, in the meantime I have to crawl back up to TN/MS and lick my wounds for a while. I might even have to find a (gasp) job so I can pay bills for the next couple of months. I swear, one day things will go my way......
