Okay, massive new update. Well, maybe not MASSIVE.
Training scheduling finally got their heads out of their asses and got moving. So, I wound up flying around Detroit for the past several days. Exciting places like Lansing, MI, Moline, IL and Ft Wayne, IN were the locales of choice.
I finally got to see Chicago, or at least an aerial view and the airport. That was it. Going back this weekend to finish up training in the real plane, then I should be released to terrify passengers without a training captain on board.
Apparently, the flight attendent decided to have some fun at my expense on my second flight. The landing was okay, but not one of my best. So, he tells everyone "Hey, go easy on our First Officer. It's his first day." Which most people thought was a joke. If they only knew....
