Okay, I swear I'm still here.
Last week's wonderful little winter weather knocked me out of about $500 thanks to all the cancelled flights. Wouldn't have been so bad if the temp had actually made it up above freezing the second day. Since it didn't, all the planes still had a nice little coating of ice on the wings. Ice on the wings = not a very good flying airplane.
I'm closing in on minimums to apply for airlines, and I actuallye exceed the mins for some. So applications have started going out. Now, it's waiting by the phone time.
I'm gonna try to drag my ass (and a couple of my roommates) over to No Frills tomorrow night to see what all the fuss is about. Plus, it'd be nice to meet xcdat and cicatrix before I just show up at their house on Friday night.
