ive finished my first 4 day week of 8-430 work in a major corporation and damn does that drain you, you gotta try it sometime to see what it really is like
i remember all the depression i had at this time last year. it really wasnt till i hit spring semester of college that i really did become able to overcome it for the most part. it really was a matter of me working so much that i didnt have the time for it mostly.

It's a difficult thing, parents! I think as you get older you do become more forgiving but I have a similar relationship with my equally irresponsible and ultimately very selfish Father. He didn't make any effort to make something of himself either and that has effected my life in every way. To be honest I am angry with him for having me and not thinking about the consequences. I am sorry you have to be so upset by his actions and I hope he finds another job soon. You wont make the same mistakes because you are so aware, I suppose that is the one good thing.
Funny fact number two, Nick Cave is my 10 year old cousins Godfather too, so Bam Bam (that is her name) shares a godparent with Tiger Lily. Haha Godparents are there for moral guidance, what a man to have for that purpose
