School has come and gone, obviously. And quite obviously, I am back in Bucyrus living a bland summertime life with a few hours here and there at Baker's. Actually, one day a week seems to be the common trend so far. I didn't choose it. I'd prefer more hours, but the schedule is never made in my favor. After all, I was gone for almost...

Hey, boo. It's been fun seeing you the past two days. We can spend more time together during the week if you'd like. We just have to communicate more. Thanks for the comments. And, oh yes, my pictures are tiny because I got them off of Mel's friend's myspace page, and she made them tiny. I'm looking forward to your b-day shindig. I will try my hardest to make it. kiss

I was watching Good Will Hunting yesterday and the soundtrack reminded me of the best mixed pop CD I have ever received, one I still listen to, and hold dear. I'm sorry to hear your Bonnaroo experience left you feeling ill. I went to Coachella this year, and, apart from being left there by myself (my friend decided after one day he did not want to put up with the camping experience any more), I had a fantastic time. Perhaps one day our paths will cross on the concert front.

It's Wednesday morning of my final week at OU as a freshman. (However, technically, I was a sophomore last quarter... yes, I know... I am amazing like that). It is a bittersweet feeling, I suppose. I have learned quite a bit, mostly about myself, in the short time I've been here so far. I feel almost completely different about myself and my life than I...

So, I finally joined and was able to go back and read all of the blogs I couldn't read before and look at the pictures I couldn't see prior to my membership. I must say, I got all kinds of teary-eyed looking at the old photos of us. We were/are cool kids. Also, the pictures have inspired me to start eating better and sort of "restoring" my appearance. I feel like I haven't been me lately. I have a lot less color, if you will. I've missed you more than you know. I feel a lot more like me when you're around. <3

Pivotal. There are pivotal moments in one's life. One must re-examine their friends. The amount of second, third, fourth, and fifth chances they give to friends, lovers, etc. I had a pivotal moment. And I'm done. Done done done done done done. I call upon you, I ask you to forget petty arguments and remember an almost four-year, enduring friendship, and I request some supportive...

that's really awful for your sister to have to be suffering through that, but as you stated, she does at least know what the problem is now.

someone i know from college took art history, and she told me that it was pretty intense - much to know. then again i've taken classes that many fear like it's the plague and still done well in them, so just goes to show you that what one person says might not apply to you. it's good that you are taking courses in a variety of subjects, so you can get a good feel for what you want to pursue further. always good to keep doors open, exploring new opportunities and such.

good luck with finals! you're almost there. i finished mine three weeks ago, so at this point ive forgotten all about school and thats only going to get worse since ive started work again as of this morning, oh the joys of waking up at 630am and the first week which consists of training, orientation, and lots of other boring stuff too.

I have about an hour until class, so I suppose it's time to churn out another generic blog update since I have been far and away since my last update in April. Actually, exactly a month ago. I'm just now realizing that it's been that long.

Washington D.C. was amazing. I want to go back immediately. Unfortunately, I experienced a bought of illness during the...

Updates from the grave.

My Easter was nice/crazy. Thursday night I made the weekly voyage from Athens to Columbus with Dan and Damein, and upon returning to their ghetto abode, we all watched The Cable Guy. I forgot how funny that movie actually is, but I guess you don't really appreciate dark humor at age nine. While I'm on the topic of movies, on...

good to hear that you had a nice easter, despite some of the unexpected happening.

if nurses are teaching the health class that could explain quite a lot. not that ive got anything against nurses, but something ive noticed in my pharmacy classes is that the nurses and pharmacists really dont get along too well. long history to that, but some of the nurses just want things done their way or the highway...

Today is my boyfriend Dan's birthday. He is 20. Wish him a happy birthday. I love him. He's the best.

On an unrelated note.

This break has been pleasant for the most part. Today we're all going bowling for Dan's birthday, and it should be pretty fun. For the past couple of days, Dan and I have been in Bucyrus and Crestline visiting family, friends,...

Spring break! Woooo... spring break never really meant anything to me until this year with the introduction of college into my life.

I finished my exams on Tuesday and left early in the day while the remainder of my OU friends and acquaintances must remain there until Friday. I am currently at Dan's. He went to take an exam at 1:30 and has not gotten...

Where did the romance go?

Political Science 150 is over. Over, I say. I know that I missed three questions on the final test. I mixed Croatia and Serbia up on the map. Fucking map. Fuck that class. My teacher, the lovely Myra Waterbury with her tacky boot-like shoes and her HIGH WATER PANTS pretty much flat-out disagreed with one meager comment I made the...

My sister Shannon and some of my friends from high school and other high school classmates with whom I graduated attend Bluffton University in Bluffton, Ohio, and needless to say this news hits very close to home for me, my sister, and my friends.

Please keep these athletes and all of Bluffton University in your thoughts and prayers.

The album Tiny Music... Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop by the Stone Temple Pilots reminds me of this very bad experience I had in the second grade (around the time that this album came out and the single "Big Bang Baby" could be heard nearly every hour on the alternative rock radio station constantly playing in our dining room). I remember taking a field...

yay for no class on friday. ive never had that and never ever will. this semester and the one before it have been only one friday class, which is good because it gets me motivated and awake. didnt have much choice since this was the only way that everything fit. as for future schedules-the pharmacy school always gives you 5 days/week of class, and they might disrespect the standard class start and end times.

you've got some pretty interesting classes. i'm on the semester schedule, so im in the same classes till may. organic chem_2.0 [aka benzene and carbonyls are now your life], organic chem lab, statistics, physiology and my favorite, history of pharmacy. in the fall ive got all pharmacy classes: intro biochem, intro pharmaceutics, intro pharmacology, pharmacy practice management, intro to pharmaceutical care, intro professional practice experience and a professional elective [likely to be leadership for pharmacy professionals].

That little story reminded me of the time when i was 7 and had broken a little ceramic dragon my sister had painted for my mom...i put it back together as it just broke in half. Then one day when i was helping my pack up stuff for the move to the new house when i was fifteen she went to pick it up and it was in half.

She looked over at me

I giggled

she said alright what happened?

I did that when i was seven mom...i'm kind of surprised it hasn't moved.

I glued it back together and it sits on top of our microwave now...funny how that works.
