Boy, have the past couple of days been a whirlwind of excitement for me! Actually, no. Not really. I'm snowed in. Quite literally. There's over a foot of snow on the ground. When I open my back door, I can't find the steps. The cars are somewhere out there. My dog disappeared.

So I have been just kind of lying around. Lucky Tegan and I decided to go shopping Tuesday before the snow began. We went to a lot of places but I only bought a handful of items. A pair of Express jeans for $6.99 at Gabriel Brothers (I'm convinced that is the most depressing, bleak store in the universe), a pizza cutter for my mom at TJ Max, a hot pink H.I.M. shirt, two pairs of earrings, a Depeche Mode sticker, and a Smiths sticker (for Shannon) at Hot Topic, and a copy of Catcher in the Rye for Shannon at Barnes and Noble. Then we went to McDonald's and waited twelve hours to get two cheeseburgers and a parfait.

Sara called me Tuesday night. I had to counsel her through a "situation" with Seth. She was very angry and upset. It was one of the few times I've witnessed her crying. She wrote a letter to make her feel better, and she read it to me over the phone, using the word "bleap" frequently. It made me laugh, but it probably shouldn't have.

I watched my favorite movie of all-time the other night. The Muse. Yep. It's the best, most hilarious movie ever. Watch it sometime if you ever get the chance. Sometimes they run it on Comedy Central. Actually, you might not like it. You can blame me. Or Sharon Stone.

Yesterday my sister and mom made fudge. Peanut butter and chocolate fudge. Then my family and I decorated the Christmas tree. Then we ate frozen pizza and listened to Pink Floyd. Then I took a shower. Then my mom went to work, my dad fell asleep in his chair, and Shannon and I made cut-out cookies. They didn't turn out the prettiest, but they are tasty nevertheless. Then my dad got up and we all ate corndogs. I listened to music and browsed the new Rolling Stone. I burnt a ton of CDs for various peoples, and then Shannon got on the computer and talked to a good friend of hers, who incidentally isn't her good friend anymore as of that conversation last night. She ended up going upstairs and crying very, very loudly. I comforted her. Then we tried to watch Say Anything, but I was tired so I went to bed. That was yesterday. Today has been a whole lot of nothing. Got up. Ate Cheerios. Watched Comedy Central. Watched old music videos. Changed sheets. Took a shower. Ate ham and cheese sandwich.

When lunch rolls around, there's one chip that satisfies like no other: SUNCHIPS BRAND MULTIGRAIN SNACKS. They're the perfect complement to sandwiches, soups, and all your other lunchtime favorites. Flavorful HARVEST CHEDDAR seasoning enhances their distinctive blend of whole wheat, corn, and other natural grains to give them a crisp, cheesy, unique taste that's amazingly good! Open a bag and see why SUNCHIPS ARE LUNCH CHIPS!

Do you like that? ^ I wrote it myself. biggrin

Not really. ...I am ashamed. blackeyed

Now, to further exemplify to you how bored I truly am, I'm going to give you the infamous grand tour of Kelland's bedroom.

Here's the grand entrance. What can we spy? I spy school shit on my bed. Accounting textbook. Poster in the distance of all the Simpsons characters... Morrissey pictures, heap o'stuffed animals... and that's my cat Keefer sitting on my sister's bed. It's still there even though she's away at college 99% of the time.

That's crap that remains beside my bed. Alarm clock. Coheed comic book I must've been looking at sometime. Bag o'pictures. Collage my friends and I made last Christmas. Large Christmas teddy bear tucked in the corner. And a heart that you plug in and it has all those little electro-thingies in it that go to your hand when you touch it. Seth got that for me for Christmas last year.

Some books. Some videotapes. Some cassettes. Definitely not all that I own. The picture to the left is Shannon giving me a piggyback ride. The picture to the right is Tegan and I at prom last year. That styrofoam cup is one that I saved from the shithole I used to work in during this past summer. I keep random little notes and pieces of paper in that.

Oh my, the basket o'crap I keep ontop of my speaker. Let's see... we've got an SG sticker (how appropriate!), a ticket from when I saw Interpol a few months ago... sweatbands, plastic bracelet thingers, Kerry pins, blah blah blah...

Frankie, my little stereo. At the time I must've been listening to the CD crushjunkie sent me, because it's laying ontop of the CD player. The picture in the middle is of my encounter with Coheed and Cambria's lead singer, Claudio Sanchez. As you can see, I was freakishly happy. I am kind of slapping Jessica in the face with my hair. That's not very nice. The other picture is of Jessica and I. Aww. Aren't we purdy?

CDs... DVDs... etc. A lot of them from the second rack now reside in Shannon's dorm.

Now that you've suffered through that, I'm going to go play videogames or something.

EDITED TO SAY: Just a quick note to wish everyone a happy holiday. I say holiday because it's the Democratic way. biggrin

You know most of those things are ten years old? If something keeps the same flavor for ten years it can't be good for you. And you can have my affection I dont think I need it anymore.
